RULES & POLICIES

 DANCE STUDIO RULES

 Be on time! Tardiness is disruptive.
 The dress code will be enforced.
 Hair must be pulled up and away from the face. Long hair must be up.
 NO bracelets or necklaces.
 NO gum or food allowed in dance class.
 Tap shoes with nails or screws protruding will not be allowed in class until repaired.
 Regular attendance is a MUST! I realize some absents are unavoidable.
 Dancers may be at the studio up to 15 minutes prior to their class time. Studio doors are unlocked 15 minutes before the first class of the day.
 Check weekly for notes sent home.
 Please pick your dancer up on time. Dancers are unsupervised while waiting for their rides. Dancers should know their riding arrangements.
 Extreme misbehavior, bullying, or destruction of studio property o a dancer’s property will result in the dancer being expelled with no refund of tuition.



DANCE STUDIO POLICIES
Illness:

There are no make-up classes for illnesses.

Arrangements may be made in case of a lengthy illness.


Visitation:

Parents may visit dance class on the first class of the month in February.  NO visitation days at any other time.


Snow / Ice / Storm Days:

When bad weather conditions arise, cancelation of classes will be aired on local radio stations, Facebook Page, and by text.

* If driving in from out of town, always use your own judgement to insure your safety.


Payments:

Tuition payments must be paid prior to the first class in September & January.  All fees must be paid to participate in the dance class.

LATE FEE POLICY!!! $ 30.00 PER MONTH for any fee one month past due.


Lynette’s Dance Studio accepts:

Paypal  - plus a $4.00 processing fee for all Paypal payments.

Credit Cards  - there is a 4% processing fee.

Refunds:

There are NO refunds after the 2nd class is taken.


Recital:

To participate in the recital, dancers must attend 10 classes each semester. There is no refund of tuition or costume fees. 

All fees must be paid to receive your costume & to participate in the recital.

There is a matinee and evening show. Pre-Ballet dancers have option to perform in one or both shows.   All other dancers perform in both shows.


Costumes:

A $30.00 down payment per class on your costume is due in October.   A costume is then ordered for you. 

You are responsible for it’s entire payment in February (see Calendar for date).

* There are NO refunds for costumes.


Class Placement:

Dancers are placed in class by their ability, and reception of learning.  It is my decision if a class change is needed.

If you have questions, concerns, or problems, I would appreciate it if you would call, e-mail, text, or come and talk to me.  

I strongly feel that communication is important for a successful dance year.  Thank you for your cooperation.
